Chic Event Designs was founded in 2013 by Erica Valdez, a single mother who's desire was to become a business owner in hopes of providing a better life for her children. She had a vision to build a business that not only brought joy to her clients but also peace of mind while helping them plan the most unforgettable events. Erica is also dedicated to inspiring women to pursue their own dreams of entrepreneurship by providing them with support and guidance.

Starting as a one-woman show, Erica has built a team of seven talented event planners, with a primary focus on wedding planning. They are passionate about creating amazing experiences and crafting breathtaking, personalized weddings that truly reflect their clients' love stories. Taking pride in attention to detail, and going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of your wedding is perfectly executed.

Beyond events. I enjoy listening to music specifically, musica Mexicana and a good dance party! I am a devoted coffee connoisseur. My passion extends to the arts, tattoos, and the calming embrace of the beach and sunsets.

A proud Orange County native and the youngest of 3 siblings. Aside from being a full time Orthodontic Assistant and part time wedding crasher, she enjoys early morning gym sessions, yoga under the sun, spending time with her family and girl friends. She truly loves and values building core memories.

Erin Valdez

A Long Beach native and proud mom with a background in Dental Assisting and administration. On her spare time she loves being in nature. It's the best place to kick back and read a good book! Family always comes first, specially her son Benjamin. They both yearn for long road trips and finding new places to discover. She is always ready for adventure!

Fun Fact: She loves paper quality and pens!

Maria Ramos

A Southbay native with years of experience in the service and hospitatlity industry. She is passionate about her journey to seek a deeper relationship with god. She is committed to her faith and has found a tremendous amount of peace on this path. When she is not coordinating she enjoys the simple things like nature, walks with her dog Benzo and sunsets. Also enjoys thrifting, collecting mugs and taking care of her body through fitness and conscious nutrition.

Elina Valdez

A Long Beach native with a background in client services and administration. Outside of CED she spends time with her loved ones and binge watching TV shows she has seen so many times already! A goal she has set is to pick up a good book more often while practicing better habits of self care as she believes that sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax!

Brandee Padilla

An admissions Counselor at Biola University where some of her role is to provide support to prospective students and their families. Her experience in the planning of events for Biola has transferred over into her role at Chic Event Designs.

In her free time, you will find her spending time with friends at AMC or binge watching TV shows. She is currently trying to find new hobbies but dancing will always hold a special place in her heart.

Hailing from the South Bay, Tania is the eldest among four siblings. As a high school senior, her enthusiasm for business administration sets her on a promising path towards a future where she aims to make a mark in the business world.

In her free time, she enjoys baking, nail art and spending time with friends and family.
